Enjoy a Fun Treasure Hunt in Curitiba with the Kids

Curitiba

CuritiGame is a live and interactive tour for families traveling with children who want to learn more about the city’s culture and history.

Besides well-known attractions like the Botanical Garden and the Wire Opera House, Curitiba also has activities tailored for children. To make the experience even more exciting for young tourists, how about an exhilarating and interactive journey through the charms of Curitiba?

More Than Just a Walking Tour

CuritiGame is a truly interactive and sensory journey through downtown Curitiba. Several envelopes are scattered around tourist spots containing clues about the locations to be visited. In true treasure hunt style, kids and their parents use a smartphone to scan QR codes on the envelopes, revealing the location of the next destination and sharing many stories about the city.

During the game, children will visit places like João Cândido Square, São Francisco Ruins, Cavalo Babão, Curitiba Memorial, Municipal Palace, Cathedral, Tiradentes Square, Rua 15, Bar do Alemão, the murals scattered throughout the city center, and much more. Each stop offers a bit of history and curious facts about the city, presented in a light and engaging manner.

Throughout the journey, kids will meet people who are part of the city’s history, such as the owner of one of the city’s oldest flower shops. The tour always ends with food, either in a restaurant or a confectionery. At this moment, the kids find the grand treasure with many chocolate coins and a special surprise.

Heads Up!

CuritiGame is ideal for children aged six and up but can also be adapted for even younger kids. The entire interactive and sensory journey lasts about three hours, and parents need to have a smartphone with an internet connection, a QR code reader, and access to Google Maps. The tour can also be conducted in other languages, such as English, Spanish, and German. Fun is guaranteed for the whole family!
