Get an Overview of Natal in One Day
Natal offers attractions that, like many coastal cities, aren’t limited to sunny days enjoying the sand and sea. It’s always good to take some time out of your itinerary to get to know other tourist and historical points of the city.
A panoramic city tour is a unique opportunity to get a broader view of the city, explore the main tourist attractions, and discover some secrets about the city. From this tour, you can use the remaining days to delve deeper into the places you saw and liked the most.

Park and Walk in the Historic Center
One of the stops on this tour is the Parque das Dunas. Take the opportunity to walk along ecological trails, ride a bike, have family picnics, and even learn a bit about the flora and fauna with a specialized guide.
Fun Fact: The Parque das Dunas is considered the largest urban park over dunes in Brazil and one of the largest urban reserves of the Atlantic Forest in the country.
The Historic Center is the next destination on this tour. Visiting this region is like taking a trip back in time, with its narrow and winding streets, colorful houses, and tranquil squares. The area is a cultural and architectural treasure that will transport you back to the past, immersing you in the rich history of the capital.
Among the attractions you will see are the City Hall, the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Alberto Maranhão Theatre, the city’s zero milestone, the Palace of Culture, the Tourism Center, and much more. Another stop you can’t miss is the Mirante da Ladeira do Sol, where you’ll enjoy an incredible view of the Via Costeira – a 12-kilometer-long seaside avenue where the best hotels in the city are located.
Many Beaches Along the Way
Of course, a tour in Natal wouldn’t be complete without some beach time. In addition to small stops at beaches like Miami, Forte, Artistas, and Ponta Negra, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a beachfront lunch at Camurupim. Take this break to relax a bit on the beach and rest because there are still many beauties to be seen.

Rocket Launch Center is Unusual
For those who don’t know, Natal has a rocket launch center operated by the Brazilian Air Force. Over 400 rockets have been launched there, the first one in 1965. This is a must-see stop for anyone visiting the city.
Did you know? The Barreira do Inferno, where the Rocket Launch Center is located, has a long stretch of sand that has become a nesting ground for sea turtles. The Tamar Project – a foundation promoting the recovery of sea turtles through research, conservation, and social inclusion – carries out essential environmental preservation work in the area.
The Largest Cashew Tree in the World is Here
One of Natal’s main tourist attractions is a tree. But it’s not just any tree. It’s the cashew tree, the largest cashew tree in the world. It gained national fame in 1995 when it was featured on a TV show, and since then, the number of visitors has only grown. The tree spans 8,500 m² and produces about 70,000 cashews per harvest.
Amazing, isn’t it? You’ll be amazed by such beauty. And, of course, you can’t forget to capture this moment with lots of photos and videos.
Fun Fact: The cashew is a typical Brazilian fruit and very popular throughout the country. It consists of two distinct parts: the nut – the hard seed – and the fleshy, juicy part we eat. The fruit may not be widely known around the world, but its nut is. You know those cashew nuts you occasionally eat? Yes, they come from the cashew fruit. Here, in addition to eating the fruit and the nut, we also make juices, jams, sweets, bread, flour, and much more.
